Last year we posted about Care.com and thought we should bring it up again. If you are looking for quick part-time or even full time work to make some extra money or if you are looking to hire a caregiver, this is a good site for you to visit.
Care.com matches providers with people looking for child care, special needs care, tutoring & lessons, senior care, pet care & housekeeping. In our area, there are plenty of people hiring right now.
You post your experience, and post a picture. You can also submit pre-recorded references. The service is FREE, however there is a nominal fee for a background check, which I recommend.
For $10.00 a month, you can be listed as a “featured caregiver” and your listing is at the front of the pack.
My sister-in-law found her nanny through Care.com and has had her for over three years.
You will be sent an email each time a position matching your qualifications is posted. You can check out the job posting and then decide if you want to contact the person through the website.
