This is a word-for-word dramatized reading of the ESV New Testament. Each character has it’s own voice, with a narrator to read all the parts inbetween – but it’s still word for word! Music and mild sound effects are in the background, which I personally find really engaging. With most audio bibles where it’s just one voice reading on and on and on…it loses me and I totally tune out, no matter how hard I try to stay focused. With the music, the voices, and altogether “enhanced” reading, I literally find myself totally captivated by hearing the Word, and will often just sit and listen long past my project is done. It brings the Bible to altogether new life! Some of the voices are cheasy, some of the music is pretty simple and basic…but as a whole, I found it a fantastic resource! I have been telling everyone about it, because I believe this audio bible can really bring the New Testament to life. I highly recommend this! I hope they also do the Old Testament!”
