“Sandra Calixto has written a GREAT little book on how to make your own beauty and household products! I am severely allergic to most commercially made products, but I can use almost ALL of her recipes! I am excited to make the make-up remover and shampoo and hair rinse, as the volume of unhealthy chemicals in most store-bought versions are certain to cause me to have an allergic reaction!
I am a retired science teacher, and as I read Sandra’s book – I truly appreciated the clarity of her instructions. She said her 9-year old daughter helps her, and I can understand why! There are just a few ingredients in each product, the measuring directions are quite good, and her ‘helpful tips’ take care of any questions you might have!
