Use Restaurant.com to find a restaurant before you go out to dinner. Simply search by zip code or state, purchase a gift certificate ahead of time, print it, then take it to the restaurant and use it to take $25 off your bill.
Restaurant.com is a great way to try local independent restaurants (non-chain type restaurants.) They frequently participate in Restaurant.com as a way to build traffic.
Here are a few tips. Some of the restaurants have restrictions as to the day(s) that these can be used, such as mid-week and not weekends or holidays. Other restaurants specify a minimum food purchase and add in a gratuity of 18%. Just read the fine print before you purchase, even with some restrictions, these discounted restaurant certificates can save you a lot of money.
Before you are able to print out your certificate, you have to by pass a few “bonus offer” pages, just look at the bottom of the page for the “no thanks” option.
If the restaurant hasn’t already added in the gratuity, please remember to tip your server for the full amount of the check before the $25.00 discount.
