The Today Show  had money saving tips for buying and selling discounted gift cards. One  site they mentioned is one that I have used before called  Plastic Jungle.

You can buy gift cards at a discount from face value and sell your unused gift cards through  Plastic Jungle. The price varies based upon supply and demand. You can also trade your unwanted gift cards for one that you will use.
