Travel Checklist for Families

I am not a good packer. True confession time. I travel several times a year and I always have travel packing regrets. My first stop is usually to a CVS or similar drug store for toiletries and beauty products that I have not packed. Another familiar stop is to a Radio Shack or similar because I have forgotten a charger cord.

On my 2 day trip to Orlando last weekend, I packed 5 pair of shoes. That is ridiculous. I wish I could be more like those chic French ladies who have classic wardrobe items that fit well and mix and match with everything. How about you?

I came across a useful article on Vacation Maybe with some great packing tips and a travel checklist for families. You may want to print this out or bookmark it.

For Everyone

Bring a small flashlight- you can pick one up a the dollar store. These are great to have on your nightstand in an unfamiliar hotel room. If you keep it in your carry-on, you can also use it to quickly find what you need while on the airplane.

Bring sanitized hand wipes and share them with your seatmates. This is a great way to make new friends and spread kindness not germs!

Zip ties- a few of these may come in handy if your luggage handle breaks.

Cloth reusable bag – great for using as a beach bag or picnic bag.

Now don’t forget those charger cords for all your gadgets!
