What are Swagbucks? Get Started Today and Start Earning Your Free Gift Cards!

Begin using Swagbucks and soon you will have free gift cards to use. I have been using Swagbucks for a few years now and I redeem mine for Amazon.com gift cards, $5 at a time. When I purchase something from Amazon.com, I type in my Swagbucks gift card code and it is deducted from my total at Amazon.com. Whoo – hoo! Who wouldn’t like that?

It is free and after using it for a few times, you will catch on and start racking up those free gift cards too.

mega Swagbucks

After logging in to Swagbucks, use the search bar just as if you were searching for something from  Google or Ask.com. The answers you get, come from these two search engines. To reward you for taking this small extra step are the points you are awarded, your Swagbucks. If you want to just give it a try-  just set up a FREE account  and do a few searches on anything like “ice cream” or ” Google news”.

You don’t have to get into the sites or read anything or stay on them, you just need to do the searches until you earn your Swagbucks.

Usually you are awarded your free Swagbucks after a few searches, so keep going until you get your message that you have been awarded your Swagbucks.

One of the many ways to redeem your Swagbucks is for  free gift cards at retailers like Amazon.com, Target, JCPenney, Lowe’s, Barnes & Noble,  and Starbucks. As I mentioned, I prefer Amazon.com. You get a free $5 Amazon.com gift card with 450 Swagbucks.

The site was a little confusing to me when I first started. I advise keeping it simple until you catch on, and then you can branch out and play games, enter contests, and do surveys if you choose to. You can really get into this site and spend a lot of time on it – or you can just do a couple searches a day and earn some free gift cards. There are all kinds of prizes, contests, surveys, and multiple ways to redeem and use your Swagbucks.

No Credit Card or Personal Information is Needed

They don’t ask you for any personal information to set up an account, don’t require a credit card and I have not gotten any spam or unwanted emails as a result of using  Swagbucks.

I know they are using this site to track my surfing habits, but I figure Google is doing that anyway, so I might as well get some free stuff for it. If this makes you crazy, then this probably isn’t for you.

Always make sure that you are logged in to your account before you start so you get the proper credit.
