This Creamy Pumpkin Mousse recipe is a perfect dessert that you can enjoy any time of year. I usually make this as a dessert for Thanksgiving dinner.
It’s made with simple ingredients and resembles the great taste of a traditional pumpkin pie. This is such an easy no-bake dessert that you can make for your family. This is definitely a favorite pumpkin dessert in my household. It’s also perfect to serve at other special occasions especially if you have guests with a sweet tooth.

Ingredients for Creamy Pumpkin Mousse
- 1 pint heavy whipping cream
- 6 T. real maple syrup, divided
- 1 15-oz. can pumpkin purée (not pumpkin pie filling)
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened, cubed
- 2 T. pumpkin pie spice
- 1 t. pure vanilla extract
- 1/3 c. half & half
- Pecan halves
- Ground cinnamon, for dusting
- Gingersnap cookies, for serving

How To Make Creamy Pumpkin Mousse?
Step #1. Beat the heavy cream in a large bowl with a hand mixer until it doubles in size. Add 2 tablespoons of maple syrup and continue beating until light and fluffy. Cover with a plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator until ready to use.
Step #2. Beat the pumpkin purée, cream cheese, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, half &half, and remaining maple syrup in a large mixing bowl with the electric mixer until thoroughly blended.
Step #3. Taste and adjust seasonings, as desired, to get the rich pumpkin flavor. Then, transfer to individual dessert bowls. Cover and place in the refrigerator to chill for at least 1 hour.
Step #4. To serve, remove from refrigerator and top with maple whipped cream, pecans, and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon, if desired. Enjoy!
