Amazon Trade-In – Turn in your used items for an Amazon Gift Card, even if you bought them at other retailers. Trade in your cellphones, tablets, laptops, video games or consoles and books.

H&M – Take old clothing and home items, like bedding or towels, to the nearest H&M location and drop it in one of their in-store collection boxes for a sweet coupon.

Madewell – Bring in that old pair of jeans sitting in your closet into any Madewell store and receive $20 off a new pair. You’ll be proud you did — Blue Jeans Go Green turns that old denim into housing insulation for communities around the country.

The North Face – “Every year 85% of textiles produced ends up in landfills. Clothing. Shoes. Gear. Wasted, without a second thought. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We can shift from a traditional, linear model to a circular model where people share, resell, repair and recycle clothing to keep them out of landfills and in the value chain. A world where people can have more experiences with less waste.

The North Face Renewed is a collection of refurbished clothing remade to explore, more. Whether previously worn, returned, damaged or defective, it’s inspected, washed and tuned up for your next adventure. It’s the same great quality and performance you expect from The North Face with less impact on the earth.”

Levi’s – If you’re like most of us, you’re starting to get that itch for Spring Cleaning. Your once pristine stack of jeans and sweaters is toppling over and now that the sun is peeking out, it’s time to make some changes. We have the perfect solution.
In January 2014, Levi Strauss & Co. launched a clothing recycling initiative with I:COin the US that allowed consumers to recycle clothing and shoes in stores to reduce the volume of waste being sent to landfills every year

Kiehl’s –Only full-size product will receive a stamp, deluxe samples and complimentary products can be returned for recycling but do not warrant a stamp. Each customer can redeem one reward per month (one reward = ten empty full-sized containers) for a 2.5oz travel-size product worth up to $11 in value.

For the Official Recycle and Be Rewarded policy, please speak to a Kiehl’s Customer Representative. See rules

MAC – If you love MAC products (who doesn’t?) and have at least six packaging containers lying around, take them to the closest counter immediately to trade them in for a free lipstick!

Lush – If you’re an avid Lush fan and have accumulated five or more plastic pots that had originally housed a liquid product, bring them to your local Lush retailer and they’ll reward you with a free mask.
