“Here’s a pic of my Fall wreath. This was an easy project that didn’t require a lot of materials or skill. My favorite kind of project! I’m crushing on all things chevron right now, so this was a simple way to incorporate the pattern into my neutral Fall decor. Here are a few pictures of the process:
Here’s a look at my materials. I purchased the wire wreath frame, chevron ribbon, neutral pipe cleaners and burlap flowers, all from Hobby Lobby.
I began by attaching the ribbon to the wreath with one of the pipe cleaners that I had cut down to a smaller size. At this point I had pulled the entire piece of ribbon off of the roll it came on.
After that, it was just a simple weaving in and out through the wire form. I used a lot of ribbon in each section in order to make the wreath look full. A little twisting and tweaking was required to get the desired look. When finished, I simply embellished it with a darling little crow and a few burlap flowers. A wide, rustic burlap ribbon was the perfect way to hang this little gem from my doorknocker!
I hope this inspires you to make a wreath for your own front door. Any ribbon and decorative items could be used to tailor this project to your own personal style!”
