This has been quite the year for me. Many of you know that both of my children got married and that my hubby and I are settling into our empty nest. Now that the excitement of planning and helping with both weddings has passed, I’ve been filling my time with organizing old photos and keepsakes.

Oh my, I’ve been such a pack rat. I’m sure I saved every card and drawing the kids ever made. Have you done the same thing or have you been able to pare it down? I could use your tips!

It’s been sentimental and emotional looking at the old memories and photographs as I sort through them. I’ve laughed and cried, sometimes at the same time.

From the time that the kids were small, we took a holiday photo for a Christmas card. Some were funny and others were just a reflection of what we were doing that year. I want to continue that tradition with my newly expanded family.

It’s been so fun to look back and see the kids as have grown up. I’ve also had some big laughs looking at how my hairstyles have evolved over the years. Have you ever posted your #TBT photos? I would love to see those!

I do remember how long it used to take to get that big hair. I’m sure you could choke on the cloud of hairspray that would surround me. My mom had the same hairstyle practically her whole life. I don’t know how I went so far afield, but I sure did. I have been a brunette, a redhead, and a blonde.

For my friends who have been following me since the early days of my blog, you may remember that I worked at the front desk of a medspa until a few years ago. We would carry some ultra-expensive and ultra-complicated skin care systems and regimens. Some of them had 5-7 different products to use in the morning and then different products to apply before bed I wanted to believe that the expense and the time would produce a superior result but I quickly realized that was not true.

When your skin looks good, you have the confidence to put yourself out there. I’m not complaining, but getting older does come with its challenges. I just want to look the best I can at every age without having to spend gobs of time or money. How about you?

I’ve been using L’Oréal Age Perfect Rosy Tone Moisturizer for the past two weeks. I am already seeing improvements in how hydrated my skin looks. I’ve been getting compliments too!

As we get older, our complexion can become dull, due to a surface build-up of dead cells. As a result, our natural pink tone is hidden and we lose that natural rosy tone of our youth.

The L’Oréal Age Perfect Rosy Tone Moisturizer feels lightweight on the skin and it absorbs quickly. It leaves my skin with a velvety finish but it does not have any residue or leftover stickiness and my overall skin texture feels improved.

It has a lovely fragrance which is called Imperial Peony and it is just right, not overpowering. The beautiful blush color is a hint of what is to come! My skin is rejuvenated with a rosy, healthy blush. I love it!

As we head into the holidays, my skin tends to be extra-dry so I am thrilled I have the solution. The moisturizer earns extra bonus points with me because you get a lot of product in the jar. It is a great value and it will last a long time.

I am going to happily add L’Oréal Age Perfect Rosy Tone Moisturizer to my simplified skincare routine. I would love to hear what you think after trying it too. I’ve always loved the L’Oréal slogan, “because I’m worth it.”

L’Oréal Age Perfect Rosy Tone Moisturizer has improved my skin tone in just a few weeks. See my results and some funny #TBT hairstyles!

Certain haircuts can be tough to maintain. I’m always looking for shortcuts. I too have simplified my routine.

The L’Oreal Age Perfect Rosy Tone Moisturizer I have not yet tried but have heard great things about it. This is something I am going to have to pick up and share with my sisters since we are all over 45 now. Thanks for sharing a great review.

I love your hairstyle! I have been avoiding a hair cut for a while because it always makes me nervous.
