Pay Your Age- Starwood Hotels Promotion- the Older You Are, the Less You Pay!

The Starwood Hotel chain has a money-saving promotion called “Pay Your Birth Year.” The older you are, the more you save and the less you pay! Let’s hear it for getting older!

Here is how the “Pay Your Age” promotion works:

You pay the going rate for the first night and on the second night and in most cases, the third night too, you only pay the rate of the year that you were born.

Here is how this would work for me in the Los Angeles area:

Stay at the Westin LA Airport and pay $199 the first night and I would pay $57 for the second nights  and $57 for the third night.

Stay at the Four Points Westin in Los Angeles and pay $179 the first night and I would pay $57 for the second nights  and $57 for the third night too.

So now you know, I was born in 1957. See how this works? Shack up with the oldest friend you can find! Just kidding!!

There are some pretty nice hotel chains to choose from:

The Starwood hotel chain includes Sheraton, Westin, W Hotels, Meridian, Four Points,St. Regis, and Element hotels with locations in the U.S., Canada, Caribbean, and the Netherland Antilles.

Here is the link to find a participating hotel. Book online, or from the US and Canada call (877) 762-0106 and use promo code NBR or ask for the “PAY YOUR AGE” promotion. This offer is valid at participating hotels for stays before December 31, 2013.

The offer is based upon availability. It is not a widely publicized promotion but I verified that it is still active. In some “rare” cases, I was told the fee is pay your age plus $100.

Come back here and tell us what you paid!

Send this post on to your “oldest friends”.
