I love browsing through a Pottery Barn catalog. I’ve purchased furniture from them that I’ve had in several homes and looks good wherever I put it. I wish I could afford a house full of it.

You can get a Pottery Barn inspired living room when you begin to train your eye and looks for similar pieces for less with decor from Walmart, Target, Home Depot and a few more affordable sources.

The key is to start with a neutral background for your large pieces of furniture and then add in accents that can be easily changed out. Adding natural textures from rugs and decorative items will be important too.
