Christmas is rapidly approaching and there are too many holiday events in Orange County to count. You can view the Gingerbread Houses at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, enjoy the Nutcracker performance at the Irvine Barclay Theatre, be dazzled by Cirque Musica Holiday Spectacular with Live Orchestra and Amazing Feats at the Honda Center, and so much more. There are special holiday events to suite everyone.

1. Festival Ballet-Nutcracker Performance at Pretend City in Irvine
Join us for a full day of fun as Pretend City gears up for the holiday season! Today we are enjoying a performance of the Nutcracker from the Festival Ballet! Bring your little ones to the museum to see this holiday classic. Show times are at 11 am and 11:40 am.
Featuring live music, stunning costumes, and a whimsical set, The show begins with a journey to the magical world of Christmas where you’ll enjoy beloved standards and contemporary holiday favorites like “Winter Wonderland,” “Baby It’s Cold Outside” and “Sleigh Ride”. The fun continues when the second act curtain opens to reveal a breathtaking scene that evokes Victorian England from Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Dressed elegantly in ball gowns and top hats and tails, the cast brings to life the traditional songs of the season including “White Christmas,” “Do You Hear What I Hear?” and “Silent Night.” Lighthearted, fun and entertaining, This show is a holiday treat for the whole family.
3. Winter Fest @ The OC Fair & Event Center, Costa Mesa
Winter Fest 2016 is blowing into the OC Fair & Event Center on December 16 through January 1! Winter Fest celebrates the spirit of the winter season, bringing fun and merriment to Southern California. This is a giant wonderland of immersive wintry fun featuring a full outdoor ice rink, a huge ice slide, a new-for-2016 play park featuring real snow created daily for snow angels and snowman building, photos of the world’s largest rocking horse, strolling carolers and personal visits in the cabin of Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Plus an entirely new Festival of Lights walk-through holiday light show featuring more than two million sparkling lights.
