What is the Price Protection Policy if the Price Drops?
Many stores will refund you difference if the price you paid goes down soon after you made a purchase. Do you track this? It’s an easy ways to get some money back. You may want to bookmark this post or print it out.

Old Navy – offers a one-time price adjustment. Price protection does not include items purchased with promotional discounts. For online purchases, call 1-800-653-6289.
Staples – will match competitors price and accept their coupons. For online purchases, call 1-800-333-3330.
Target– they’ve updated Target’s Price Match Policy by expanding digitally, providing longer timeframes and matching additional competitors—so if you find a lower price, it’s now easier than ever to match it in our stores or at Target.com.

Bed, Bath & Beyond – will match competitors price- you can also bring in a coupon and your receipt after a purchase and they will credit you the difference, no expiration on this! For online purchases, contact customer service at 1-800-462-3966.

Lamps Plus – will match competitors price plus 20% of the difference.
Lowe’s – will match competitor’s price plus 10% of the difference.
Sears – will match competitor’s price plus 10% of the difference. For online purchases, call customer service at 1-800-349-4358. 90 days Costco – You may want to bring your receipts with you and check prices as you shop.
Amazon discontinued their price protection policy, however, they did give me a $60 credit when the price of the Kindle I bought dropped by $60.00. It doesn’t hurt to ask.

How do you organize your receipts? You must be able to furnish an original receipt to get the difference back. If you are a frequent customer, you may want to have customer service simply scan your old receipts to see if anything has gone on sale. I have done this with great success at Target.
