Have you heard about Walmart’s new money back guarantee? You can now get your money back if you are not fully satisfied with fruit or vegetables purchased at Walmart.

Excerpt from a company statement…

“We’re listening to our customers and delivering on our promise to offer great produce at the most affordable price,” Jack Sinclair, executive vice president of the food business for Walmart U.S. We are so sure our customers will be pleased with the fruits and vegetables they buy in our stores, they can receive a full refund if they aren’t completely happy.”

This new initiative includes purchasing produce straight from farms in order to get it on the shelves faster and fresher, conducting weekly checks in all stores and comparing them to local competitors and launching Fresh Produce Schools to all associates that teaches how to identify and handle top produce.

All you need is your receipt. You do not have to bring the produce back to the store. What do you think? do you buy produce at Walmart? I am going to take a closer look when I am next in a Walmart. You can read more detail on the Walmart website here.
