Best Snickerdoodle Cookies
This is the Best Snickerdoodle Cookie recipe you'll ever try! They are easy to make, loaded with cinnamon flavor and so delicious.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1 egg plus 1 yolk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 3/4 cup flour
- For the cinnamon sugar – mix together in a small bowl and set aside
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- In a large bowl, use a mixer to blend butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar on medium speed.
- Add egg, yolk, vanilla, baking soda, cream of tartar, salt, and cinnamon and blend together.
- Slowly add in the flour.
- For the cinnamon sugar, mix together the sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl then set aside.
- Scoop dough and shape into balls, then roll ball into cinnamon sugar mixture to coat the cookies.
- Bake for 10 minutes. Enjoy!
