This delicious scalloped potatoes recipe is a classic dish perfect for special occasions and a great casserole dish to bring to a get-together.

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2: Peel the potatoes then use a mandolin or sharp knife for a thin slice about to ¼ inches thick. Finely chop the onions.

Step 3: Spray the bottoms and sides of an 8 x 8 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Alternate the layers of potatoes, onions, flour, salt and pepper.

Step 4: Top it with cubed butter and heat the milk until just before boiling.
