What To Serve with Spiked Hot Apple Punch?
If you’re looking to pair your Spiked Hot Apple Punch with a delicious meal, I highly recommend these:
Kitchen Notes
- For the best visual appeal for this Spiked Hot Apple Punch, use fresh crisp apples in this drink.
- You can juice fresh apples or fresh apple cider to use for this apple cocktail.
- Add a simple syrup or brown sugar to improve the taste. The amount depends on your personal preference.
The Difference Between Apple Juice and Apple Cider
You can change this recipe into an apple cider cocktail. Both apple juice and apple cider can be used for making these warm drinks. Do you know their difference?
Apple cider doesn’t contain sugar and is made of fresh pressed apples. An unfiltered apple cider could be unpasteurized. This is the best way to enjoy natural apple juice. Because it has less sugar and doesn’t have preservatives, it has a shorter shelf life compared to apple juice. When unused, this unfiltered apple juice will start to ferment and turn into an alcoholic apple cider or apple cider vinegar.
Apple juice is made with fresh apples and has been sweetened and filtered. It’s golden in color and has preservatives to improve its shelf life. Additional filtering and vacuum sealing help it to stay fresh longer.
