Gazelle is a website where you can recycle your computers and old electronics for cash. Gazelle has been featured in the Wall St. Journal and the New York Times. I first heard of the site from Real Simple Magazine. Gazelle makes it easy to ship your items by providing you with the box and a pre-paid shipping label.

They recycle cell phones, laptops, desktops, PDA’s, digital cameras, LCD Monitors, MP3 players, camcorders, GPS devices, satellite radios, portable hard drives and video games. You can answer questions about the condition of your product and get a quote before you decide to use Gazelle. If the item arrives and Gazelle does not agree with the condition of the item, they will ship it back to you for free if you do not want to continue the transaction.

You can receive payment by check or PayPal or you can donate the proceeds to one of 23 causes. According to the  Gazelle website, the average household has 24 gadgets.

You can also trade in your unwanted electronics at Best Buy, and Target. Click on their links to read the details.
