Return Items Bought at TJ Maxx In-Store and Online
In the event of a return of an online purchase, their website states:
“You can return online purchases to a store for free within 40 days of your order date unless otherwise noted on the packing slip. Please note: Items purchased at T.J. Maxx.com can only be returned to a physical store.”
These are what you need in order to return an item/s:
“Your signature and receipt/packing slip or your shipping confirmation email. For returns without a receipt, you will need to provide a valid government-issued photo ID, name, address, and the plastic bags with barcodes your items arrived in.”
In the event of a return of an in-store purchase, the website states:
“You can return in-store purchases within 30 days of purchase for an exchange or refund. Returns with a receipt over 30 days, with a gift receipt or without a receipt will receive merchandise credit only.”
Your signature and receipt are also needed when returning the item/s. “For returns without a receipt, you will need to provide a valid government-issued photo ID, name, and address.”
