These Easy Christmas Cookies Recipe with 5 Ingredients are my tradition – they are so moist and tender. They are easy to make and you can do so many variations. My kids and I have been making them for years.
One of my favorite holiday traditions is baking cookies to give as gifts to my mailman, hairdresser, teachers, office staff, friends, and family. Let’s get baking!
Note: This recipe makes three dozen cookies.

Ingredients for Easy Christmas Cookies
- 1 box (15.25 oz) white cake mix
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2/3 cup sprinkles
- Ziploc bags or piping bags

How to Make Easy Christmas Cookies
#1. Mix cake mix, oil, eggs, and vanilla together in a bowl.
#2. The dough will be stiff but continue to mix until well blended. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
#3. Preheat oven to 350 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
#4. Shape dough into tablespoon-size dough balls, I use a 1-tablespoon portion scoop and dip into sprinkles. Use a spoon to toss the dough in the sprinkles and coat all sides.
#5. Place dough onto the prepared baking sheet, 2″ apart. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until centers are set. Let cool completely.
#6. Place 1/2 cup white chocolate or candy melts into a microwave-safe container and microwave according to package directions.
#7. Place melted chocolate into a baggie, snip the corner, and pipe white trees onto half the cookies.
#8. Refrigerate for 15 minutes or until chocolate is firm. Enjoy!
