- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups dried cranberries
- 1 cup sliced almonds

Step #1. Preheat oven to 375°F
Step #2. In a large bowl, blend together butter and sugar with an electric mixer
Step #3. Add eggs and almond extract and beat well
Step #4. In a medium bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, and salt
Step #5. Slowly add the flour mixture to the large bowl with butter and beat on low
Step #6. Stir in cranberries and almonds
Step #7. Add rounded spoonful to a non-stick cookie sheet.
Step #8. Bake for 11 minutes or until a golden brown.
