Cheese Ball Recipe with Orange and Cranberry on a white plate

Enjoy the delicious seasonal flavor of this roll cheese ball at any time of year. I usually serve this for the Christmas season and made it for a couple of casual get-togethers at home. The subtle hint of sweetness adds to the already incredible set of festive flavors. I consider this a part dip, part dessert that the whole family can enjoy and that won’t take a long time to make!

Kitchen Tips

  • If you’re planning to serve this Cranberry Cheeseball for an upcoming party, you can prepare it in advance. This is my favorite way of making this so I can have it on hand. After tightly wrapping the homemade cheese ball in plastic wrap (see the second step below), place it in a freezer bag and freeze it for up to one month. When this is ready to serve, thaw it at room temperature then coat it in the pecan-cranberry mixture described below.
  • You can add goat cheese to this orange cheese ball recipe if preferred.
