Prescription Price Comparison Site

This website will show you the lowest prices at your local pharmacies on the medications that you are taking. Simply type in the name of your medication, the dosage, and your zip code. You will get an instant list of local pharmacies with the price they charge for your medication, the distance from you and the pharmacy phone number. How great is that?

The free site is called MedTipster and it is great!

Give it a try and see how easy it is to use. I typed in the name of several medications that my family uses and got results comparing the prices at the Target Pharmacy, Walmart Pharmacy, CVS, RiteAid, and several independent local pharmacies.

Share this helpful site with friends and family. The cost of prescription medication can be a real budget buster.

Thank you to my “good tipper” Josephine for sharing this site with me.

Medtipster – finds the lowest cost for prescription medication.

If you like saving money as much as I do, but don’t have the time to search for deals, subscribe for free to get my emails. No spam, no junk, just a great source for today’s best deals. If you have a frugal friend or two, share the wealth by spreading the word  about MWLT. I get my best tips from my savvy readers!

Sharing is caring!

    Meh…

From what I can tell, this only lists the prices of medicines included in the various pharmacies ‘discount programs’… I can find those myself – what I want is the ability to look up the prices of drugs that ARE NOT part of the discount programs!

yes Medtipster lists discounted generic drugs, you may try DestinationRx; http://www.destinationrx.com recommended by Kiplinger’s. Smart Money also recommends asking your pharmacy to price match. I haven’t tried that but I plan to!
